I just want to say Stepheni Svehaug is amazing at what she does. I’ve never been to a tattoo place that is so comfy and peaceful. You really have an amazing experience. I don’t know how to describe it but it is very different than any other tattoo place I have been and I loved it! Eyebrows. I didn’t have them, well I did and they are blonde, kinda like no-see-ums. I have spent the last couple of years coveting eyebrows. I have used powders, pencils, mascara, tinting, and all I did was spend time and money on something that didn’t last. I saw the micro blading my cousin had done and after…many years of thought-I did it. I was referred to Red Queen Studio by a former co-worker of Stepheni’s, also a family member. I am so glad! It took me about 6 weeks to get an appt, I was impatient, but I managed. I sent Stepheni a couple of pix-without anything on my brows and what I liked them to look like. When I came in, I brought the liner pencil color I thought was the perfect color. The studio is a comfortable space, with original and unique art and skulls/coffins (to hold color and created by Stepheni and her partner) and noir decor. I chose the playlist and we began. This woman is a perfectionist! She spent over an hour measuring and drawing and measuring and plotting the arch and measuring. She wants to like them as much, if not more, than you do. She listened and agreed with me on color and shape. She saw an edge as a “bit off” and she fixed it. I cannot imagine you’ll find someone as excited by, or more dedicated to eyebrow perfection than Stepheni! You will not regret the time or money spent, I promise.

Absolutely! Red Queen Studio employs only professionally licensed artists. Our founder Stepheni holds licenses in Permanent Makeup (PMU), Body Art (Tattoo), and Esthetics. With a foundation in Graphic Design and extensive artistic background, Red Queen Studio brings perfectionist attention to detail to every tattoo. What documentation do I need to bring?
You must provide valid government-issued photo ID proving you’re at least 18 years old. This is a non-negotiable legal requirement regardless of parental consent. Red Queen Studio takes this seriously because we respect both the law and the permanent nature of tattoo art.
How should I prepare for my tattoo session?
Come ready for a unique, comfortable experience! Eat a good meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol or blood-thinning medications for 24 hours prior. Get plenty of rest and wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. At Red Queen Studio, we pride ourselves on creating a different kind of tattoo experience—perfect if you have anxiety or don’t like crowds watching. What can I expect during the healing process?
Your tattoo will initially be red, swollen, and tender—totally normal! Within a few days, it will begin to flake and peel as your skin regenerates. Complete healing typically takes 2-4 weeks, varying by size and placement. Red Queen Studio will walk you through everything before you leave and is always available to answer questions during your healing journey.
What products do you recommend for aftercare?
Red Queen Studio recommends gentle, fragrance-free cleansers and moisturizers specifically formulated for tattoo aftercare. Products with soothing ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, or aloe vera are excellent choices. Avoid petroleum-based products as they can trap bacteria. We offer quality aftercare products in-studio and will guide you on the perfect regimen for your specific tattoo.
What should I avoid during the healing process?
For at least two weeks: no swimming or soaking in water, no direct sunlight, no tight clothing rubbing against the tattoo, and absolutely no picking or scratching at scabs (no matter how tempting!). Also avoid fragranced products, harsh chemicals, and excessive sweating. Red Queen Studio wants your tattoo to look its best for years to come—good aftercare is the key!
