Why Choose Our Body Art Tattoo Service
Our Body Art Tattoo service empowers you to exhibit your unique personality with tailor-made and eye-catching tattoo creations. As an accredited and experienced tattoo specialist, I use top-notch products and techniques to craft vibrant, long-lasting, and flawless tattoos. We prioritize your experience, providing a serene and calming ambiance for you to unwind while we execute our transformative artistry. Most tattoo facilities make you wait until you get there the day of your appointment to see what your getting. I do not work that way. I want my clients to know what they are getting BEFORE the appointment and we work together to get my clients vision beforehand.
Why You Need Body Art Tattoo Service
- Express Your Personality: A tattoo allows you to showcase your unique style and interests.
- Commemorate Special Moments: Tattoos can serve as lasting reminders of significant life events.
- Enhance Your Fashion: A well-designed tattoo can complement and elevate your overall look.
- Cover Up Imperfections: Tattoos can be used to cover scars or other skin imperfections.
- Celebrate Individuality: A tattoo is a powerful way to celebrate and express your individuality.
Our Process (I do not do walk-in appointments)
- Consultation: Discuss your ideas and preferences with our expert tattoo artist.
- Design Creation: Our artists create a custom design based on your vision.
- Approval: Review and approve the final design before the day of your appointment.
- Preparation: My studio is prepared with a sterile environment and all necessary equipment. All my clients need to have clean skin and avoid drinking or blood thinners 24-48 hours before the appointment. Fish oil has also posed a problem in the past, so please consult your doctor on that or any other major blood thinners. Tylenol is ok.
- Tattoo Application: Our skilled artists execute the tattoo with precision and care. The stencil placement is included in the quote, it is not free time.
- Aftercare Guidance: Receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and longevity. I use the 2nd skin method for healing whenever possible, even though it is an extra expense for me, not the client. Aftercare is VERY Important!

Frequently Asked Questions About Body Art Tattoo
Do you take walk-in appointments?
No, I work with my clients through messaging before the appointment date, so my clients know what they are getting before they walk in.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, I review the old tattoo to make sure the client has achievable goals first.
Do you do tattoos with human or animal ashes mixed into the ink?
No, there is a long process that needs to be done in order to do this safely and there is no science backing this procedure to be 100% safe.
Do you do portrait tattoos?
No, I do not do portraits of people or animals you know personally. I will however do portraits of random people and animals.
Do you do finger or face tattoos?
Yes, but with finger tattoos I only do one touch up within the first 6 months you get it. They fade faster than any tattoos due to the way we use our hands so much. After that, I would charge my shop minimum for the finger touch ups.
What should I expect during the tattoo consultation?
During the consultation, you’ll discuss your ideas and preferences with me. I will provide guidance and create a custom design based on your vision. I usually start your drawing 1-2 weeks before your scheduled appointment. I will send you the 1st draft/outline for you to let me know if I’m on the right track for your vision. From there I will do up to 3 revisions without asking for another deposit. If we are working on a design and you change it to a completely different concept/content after I have spent hours working on it, I will ask you for another deposit since this would be starting over on the design. I want my clients to be comfortable and have no surprises on the day of their appointment, so please be honest if you don’t like something don’t be afraid to speak up! We are a team during this process!
How do I care for my new tattoo?
You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions, including how to clean and moisturize the tattoo, avoid sun exposure, and what to expect during the healing process.
Is the tattoo process painful?
Pain levels vary depending on the tattoo’s placement and your pain tolerance. I strive to make the experience as comfortable as possible. If you choose to use numbing cream, (I do not provide that for you) please tell me ahead of time because it changes the elasticity of your skin. I do allow you to use it, however I don’t recommend it. Please know it can have adverse effects, such as, muted colors, burry lines and allergic reactions. Due to this possibility I will have you sign an extra form stating you were aware of the risks and I am not liable if this happens.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
Healing time varies, but generally, it takes about 2-4 weeks for the surface to heal. Full healing can take a few months.
Can I see examples of your previous work?
Yes, we have a portfolio of my previous work available in the studio and online for you to review. My IG is @redqueenstudiopdx and you can find me on Facebook at Red Queen Studio PDX, LLC
Do you offer touch-ups?
We offer touch-ups to ensure your tattoo remains vibrant and perfect. Policies on touch-ups will be discussed during your appointment.
What kind of ink do you use?
We use high-quality, reputable ink brands such as Eternal Ink, World Famous ink, and Intenze Tattoo Ink to ensure safety and vibrant results.
Is your studio clean and safe?
Yes, our studio maintains strict hygiene and sterilization standards to ensure a safe and clean environment for our clients.
Can I bring my own design?
Absolutely! we can discuss this in your consultation ahead of time, and I will work with you to adapt it into a perfect tattoo. I may need to make changes so it translates well on skin, but I will do my best to keep the original image.
